Young & T1 is a volunteer-led community supporting young adults (18+) living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) across British Columbia. We specialize in helping individuals navigate the transition from pediatric to adult healthcare, while offering ongoing peer support, social events, mentorship, and connections to the vibrant T1D community in BC.
If you’re a healthcare provider, we’d greatly appreciate your help connecting eligible patients to our group. A referral allows a member of Young & T1 to reach out directly to your patient, introduce them to upcoming activities, answer questions about the transition process, and help them build meaningful connections with others who understand life with T1D.
