Perspectives of Adolescents and Emerging Adults on a T1DM Pediatric-to-Adult Transition Clinic in Vancouver
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to determine whether a transition clinic for young adults will change the current transition experience. The findings from this study will be used to advocate for better transition services for young people with T1DM.
Participant Involvement
Participation involves attending a 2-hour audio-recorded focus group where you will have the opportunity to discuss your perspectives on your transition experiences.
 Eligibility
You are eligible to participate in this study if you are aged 18-35 and have been diagnosed with T1DM.
CompensationÂ
There will be free food at the focus group! You will also receive a $40 gift card to Amazon, Indigo, or Cineplex. .
